ROCKY MOUNTAIN EMPORIUM PASHMINA GRADES
Rocky Mountain Emporium offers several quality grades in order to accommodate everyone’s budget.
Silk is added to the blended options in varying degrees; silk adds strength and sheen to the fabric. Two types of silk fiber are used; 140 and 210, the latter being of finer quality. Only our GHORPA contains the 140 fiber to make it cost efficient yet a very acceptable quality.
GHORPA 140 quality is our most economical grade yet still offers the customer the wonderful warmth and lightness of pashmina. Ghorpa pashmina contains 50% pashmina wool with 50% silk 140 fiber.
BHAJU 210 is our middle grade quality. Since it contains 80% pashmina wool with 20% silk 210 fiber, it is warmer and softer than the Ghorpa grade.
JUJU 210 is the top tier luxury pashmina quality, utilizing only the finest pashmina wool fibers integrated with the top quality 210 silk fiber making it ever so soft. Fiber content is approximately 80/20.
RING pashmina is the lightest weight of all and it really can pass the "ring" test! Ring pashmina uses a top tier silk fiber called "KTN" and is integrated with the finest luxury grade pashmina fibers called "juju". The fiber content percentage is approximately 70/30. A ring pashmina wrap makes a wonderful accent piece on any summer outfit- and ever so lightweight making it a perfect travel piece.
For those who desire the feel of 100% pashmina, here again we can offer you a variety of quality options to meet your budget demands.
All our 100% pashmina products are available in any of the above referenced qualities; GHORPA, BHAJU, and JUJU.
Please note that we now offer multiple ply options to both our blended and 100% pashmina products; 2-3-4 ply is now available. Our throw blankets can be even made up in 8 ply for incredible warmth and softness.
All our pashmina products are available in over 100 colors; just ask us for our color swatch booklet and we will mail it to you free of charge. If you do not see a specific color you are looking for, please send us your fabric swatch and we will create it for you!
Our unique and exclusive "satin back pashmina wrap or shawl" has a low-luster satin on one side and plain pashmina on the reverse side done in high quality pashmina with silk blend of 70/30. This elegant pashmina wrap would make the perfect accessory piece for both bridal and special occasion dressing!
